What Kota stone actually costs
There is no single rate. Eight things move the figure, and a supplier who quotes one number without asking about any of them is guessing — or quoting the cheapest grade.
The eight variables
What moves a rate, in the order it moves it
Getting a real figure
Four lines, and we can quote you the same day.
We do not publish a rate card, because a published rate is either out of date or wrong for your job. Send these four things instead:
- The product and finish. “Semi polished Kota, 22×22” or “Kota brown, high polish”.
- The size and thickness. Standard size, or a drawing if it is cut to size.
- The quantity. In square feet or square metres, area rather than piece count.
- The delivery PIN code. Or say “ex-yard” if you are collecting.
Two rates, always
We quote ex-yard Ramganj Mandi and delivered-to-site as two separate numbers, so you can see exactly what the freight costs and decide whether to arrange your own transport.
Where Kota sits
Against the alternatives, per square foot laid
Relative, not absolute — rates move. What does not move is the order they sit in.
