Ordered area
Your measured area plus the wastage allowance. This is the figure to order against — order the measured area and you will run short.

Work it out
Put in the area and we work out the pieces, the weight, how many truck loads it is and what it comes to at a rate you choose. The arithmetic is the same arithmetic we use when we quote.
The full bill
The calculator below is quick — area to weight to a rough cost. For the whole landed price, including pemaish billing on odd sizes, freight and loading per tonne, and GST, open the full trade calculator.

Weights are working averages for Kota limestone and they are here so you can sanity-check a freight quotation, not settle an invoice. Piece counts assume the nominal size: a full slab is sawn to about its nominal dimensions rather than exactly to them, so count on the low side.
Reading the result
Your measured area plus the wastage allowance. This is the figure to order against — order the measured area and you will run short.
Ordered area divided by the area of one piece, rounded up. Full slabs run slightly under nominal, so treat this as a minimum.
What it weighs on the truck. Freight is charged on weight, so this is the number that moves a delivered rate — not the square footage.
At 25 tonnes a load. If you are just over one load, ask whether trimming the thickness band brings you back under — it is often cheaper than a second truck.
